Our youngest learners receive special attention with dedicated primary caregivers, ensuring a consistent and supportive teacher-child connection. Each child has a personalized care plan created with parents, updated twice a year to reflect their evolving needs. Infants’ diaper changes are scheduled at regular intervals to maintain comfort and hygiene.
SAFE AND SOUND DURING NAP TIME
During nap times, we prioritize a secure and comfortable environment. Teachers maintain active supervision with lights on, visual contact, and listening checks. We use age-appropriate bedding and adhere to safe sleep practices, placing infants under two on their backs and conducting regular checks to ensure their well-being.

Our staff is trained regularly in safety protocols, including emergency preparedness for situations like earthquakes and fires. Each classroom is equipped with emergency supplies, and we maintain state-standard CPR and first aid certifications, with specialized defibrillators for infants and children on-site. A designated Safety Captain oversees all safety measures, ensuring that we’re always prepared to protect your child.

We prioritize the health of every child by promoting rigorous handwashing practices and carefully monitoring for any signs of illness. Classrooms are cleaned and disinfected daily using child-safe products, creating a healthy and hygienic environment for all.

Our playgrounds are secured with fencing and designed with fall zones to minimize injury risk. Toys are routinely disinfected, and for children under 3, we meticulously check for choking hazards, ensuring safe and joyful play experiences for all children at Next Gens Academy.
